Sesame Noodles with Tofu
A quick and wholesome recipe that combines tender noodles, lightly marinated tofu, and the nutty flavor of cold-pressed sesame oil. Perfect for busy days when you need a delicious and nutritious meal in minutes.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Cup Boiled Noodles (e.g., ramen or spaghetti)
- 1 Cup Firm Tofu, cubed
- 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Hoisin Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Vasara Cold-Pressed Sesame Oil
- 1/2 Tsp Chili Flakes
- 1/2 Cup Sliced Spring Onions (whites and greens separated)
- 1 Tbsp Sesame Seeds
- Salt, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and chili flakes. Set aside.
Step 2: Heat 1/2 tablespoon of cold-pressed sesame oil in a non-stick pan. Add tofu cubes and sauté for 2-3 minutes until lightly golden. Remove and set aside.
Step 3: In the same pan, heat the remaining sesame oil. Add spring onion whites and sesame seeds. Stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
Step 4: Add the cooked noodles to the pan. Pour the prepared sauce over the noodles and toss well to coat evenly.
Step 5: Gently mix in the tofu and cook for another minute.
Step 6: Transfer to a serving bowl, garnish with spring onion greens, and enjoy!
